The Mac Project, led by Melbourne vocalist MaryAnne McCormack, fuses the styles of Jazz, Pop with a dash of funk - delivered to you with absolute Soul. Inspired by artists such as Ella Fitzgerald, Miles Davis, Sarah Vaughan and contemporary artists Macy Gray, Erykah Badu & Corrine Baily Rae, this Melbourne Singer/Songwriter has joined forces with some of Melbourne’s top Jazz & Funk musicians to create this 4-piece outfit.

MaryAnne is a vocalist of considerable talent and class. She brings a wealth of diversity to this project having trained as an Actor at the prestigious National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA). Her career has taken her all over the world where she has performed to critical acclaim in London & on Broadway with residencies at some of New York’s most famous Jazz/Cabaret venues. In Australia she has performed leading roles in many major Commercial Theatre productions, and consequently has received nominations for some of the country’s most respected Theatre and Writing Awards. As a vocalist she has performed in some of Australia’s most recognised music venues - Hamer Hall, The State Theatre and Jazz Venues -The Paris Cat, Bennetts Lane & The Apartment. The Mac Project performs around Melbourne’s many funky bars/clubs/piano bars and are also available for corporate & private functions.
